Noel T. Johnson, DO (click here for more information about "DO" designation)
Dr. Johnson was born in Missoula, Montana on November 3, 1953. He received an Eagle Scouting Award and was Captain of High School wrestling team in his youth. He completed a BA degree in Biology at Pacific Lutheran University. He received his medical degree at Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School and then completed Internal Medicine training at the Cleveland Clinic. He completed a training program in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Washington and took advanced training in Sleep Disorders at Stanford University.
Dr. Johnson has a research background in respiratory cellular physiology, clinical pulmonary medicine, and sleep disorders. He is a contributing author to a textbook of Respiratory Care, and has authored multiple research papers. He has served as Western Regional Chair of the Accreditation Committee (Sleep Centers) of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Academy and the Part II committee for the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
Married and with four children, Dr. Johnson enjoys winter skiing with family and participating in short-term medical missions. His experience in sleep therapy dates back to the origins of the Pacific Sleep Center in 1988.
